Food Valley Expo Program
The countdown has begun to Food Valley Expo 2016, the annual conference and trade show for food professionals from all over the world, on October 13. The event will feature innovations in sustainable proteins, personalized nutrition, agfood technology and food safety. The lively conference program will include presentations on the very latest scientific developments, the Food Valley Award ceremony and a variety of startup innovation pitches. As an added touch, the 2016 Food Valley Expo also marks the start of the Dutch Agrifood Week.
Dutch Agri Food Week 12 to 25 October 2016
The second-ever Dutch Agri Food Week will be taking place from 12 to 25 October this year. The event provides a platform for showcasing food, food production and food innovation which goes by the motto, ‘Good Food Better World’. In addition to promoting innovation and exchanging know-how, more than anything, the event is all about enjoying good, healthy food.

More than 20 nationalities at Food Valley Expo
The 2015 Food Valley Expo offered a wide range of innovative food products, new technology and the latest developments concerning food and health. With some 900 visitors from more than 20 nations, it was a prime networking event. This year’s Food Valley Award went to Peeze Coffee Roasters’ biobased coffee capsules.
Peeze Coffee Roasters wins 2015 Food Valley Award
The winner of the 2015 Food Valley Award is a compostable single-serve coffee capsule filled with fair-trade Arabica coffee, developed by Peeze Coffee Roasters from Arnhem, the Netherlands. This innovative capsule was developed through a unique partnership between various companies. It is a product with great market potential, as coffee drinkers worldwide use 14 billion capsules per year.
