Controlling Listeria monocytogenes in Meat, Cheese, Salmon & Vegetables with organic Phage solutions

Phages are the most abundant microorganisms in the world and can be used for targeted bacterial control. Listeria contamination is typically found on the outside of food products. Listex phages can effectively be applied as surface intervention against Listeria contamination in ready to eat meats, cheese, salmon, vegetables, resulting in a 1 – 3 log reduction. Listex is considered a processing aid, hence no labeling required, and there is no effect on the color, texture or taste.
