Dr. René Floris is Division Manager Flavour & texture at NIZO food research and is responsible for the research on food proteins. He obtained his PhD at University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. René has a solid background in protein chemistry and protein technology. René has (co-) authored over 50 scientific publications and a number of patents.
